Why Hagerman

Selecting a construction partner is paramount to the success of every building project. We understand that this is an important decision. Here are several reasons to select The Hagerman Group as your construction partner.

Longevity: The Hagerman Group was founded in 1908. We know the construction industry and what it takes to complete a successful construction project. Of great value to us is the longevity of our leadership. The average tenure of our 16 executive staff members is 18.6 years.

Experience: Our project experience ranges from wastewater treatment plants to neighborhood drugstores to museums to athletic facilities. We have worked on a variety of projects, allowing us to think outside the box when looking for ways to build new projects.

Self-Performance Capability: As one of the largest concrete and masonry contractors in the state of Indiana, we have the staff and expertise available to complete projects on time and within budget. Having the ability to self-perform concrete, masonry and carpentry gives us more control over quality, budget and schedule.

Follow-Up: Our Five-Year Warranty Follow-Up Program assists clients in the ongoing maintenance of their recently completed construction projects. After interviewing clients over a two-year period on how to improve on the construction services they received, we found that clients wanted additional assistance in the follow-up on warranted equipment and on problems not covered by warranty. As a result, The Hagerman Group initiated a program to solve this problem. We provide this program to our clients at no additional fee.

Strength: We put in place $250 million in new construction annually. We have a full-time professional staff of 125. Our bonding capacity is in excess of $200 million.

Relationships: Because of our longevity in the construction industry, we have strong working relationships with the contracting community around the state of Indiana. These relationships are crucial when it comes to bidding a job or resolving an issue on a project.
